My name is Ray McKenzie, and along with my children we have decided to purchase and operate the company Flintstone Lures. Below is a picture of us all. Starting at the left (Jay, Eric, Sean, Ray, Ashley, and Derek).

We have been a fishing family for many years. Over the years fishing has become our number one love. We have fished all types of water, inland lakes, ponds, rivers, the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and the great lakes. The great lakes have become our favorite for many years. Rogers City, Michigan, on northern Lake Huron is our home port.

I was introduced to Flintstone Lures in February 2008 at a sport show. After talking to the owner, Fred Woldring, for a few minutes, it became apparent that after 22 years he was ready to part with his company, and sell his entire operation.

After our conversation, I recalled the times when the kids were younger and I would buy blank spoons and let them design their own lures. With this in mind, I talked to my family about the possibility of purchasing Fred's company. We agreed it deserved some research.

We met Fred and Sandy Woldring, his wife and partner, and saw their inventory and operation. The amount of time and work they put into their product was very impressive. Before being packaged and sent to the retailer, every lure is coated with "Tuff Gloss," a durable protective coat.

The next step in our research was to meet the retailers. Fred and I visited some of the sporting outlets that sell his product. After speaking to the owners and employees, the result was the same at every business. They had nothing but positive things to say about Fred, Sandy and their product. We were now ready to test Flintstone lures.

Being that the fishing season was fast approaching, we acquired several Flintstone spoons to test. We spent the entire fishing season using nothing but a variety of Flintstone lures. The results were outstanding. The most impressive thing about the Flintstone lures was the durability of the finish. With all the fish we caught, we did not lose any paint.

With the fishing season coming to an end, along with our research and testing, we had a decision to make. We decided that the purchase of Flintstone Lures was a wise investment. In October of 2008, with all the legal work done, we purchased Flintstone Lures from Fred and Sandy Woldring.

Now that we (Skunked No More, Inc.) own Flintstone Lures we are going to carry on the tradition of Fred and Sandy Woldring. We are going to continue to manufacture the highest quality products.

·         We work with our retailers to make this a great experience.

In closing, we consider ourselves to be very fortunate to be involved in the building of a company, in a field that we love so very much!! We are fishermen at heart!!
